Tugboat – Our Salvation History: Last Judge – First Prophet
1 Samuel 8-10 tells of the Israelites desire for a king, of Samuel’s resistance, and finally of the choice of Saul as Israel’s first king. 1 Kings 13 relates how Saul lost favor with God. In 1 Kings 15 Saul is rejected by God, and in 1 Kings 16 Samuel goes to Bethlehem and anoints David as future King of Israel.
