Etymology Online – dogma

Signs of a False Prophet

*want you to learn about, love, and follow themselves, not Jesus Christ.

*will tell you what you want to hear instead of Christ’s truths found in the Bible

*will ask you to go against God’s Law on occasion. (see Ex. 20:2-17, Mk. 12:30, and Mt. 5:18)

*will try to make you afraid of not getting to heaven to make you do what they want. (Acts 8:9-24)

*will make prophecies that do not come true. (Dt. 18:21-22)

*will make you feel that you need him or her in order to find God.

*will try to lead you away from Jesus Christ.

*will preach the Word of Jesus Christ, but have different rules they live by
