Wisdom: Hokmah, Sophia, Sapiens (N) (C)

The attribution of the book to Solomon, as in the case of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Wisdom, may be to do with the fact that in biblical tradition this king is seen as a symbol of wisdom (“He also uttered three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five”: 1 Kings 5:12); it is probable that the attribution is a later addition.”
